KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 10 November 2022 – Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, last week clinched the Best 4x4 Lifestyle Pick-up Truck award for its next-generation Ranger WildTrak at the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2022.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 19 June 2023 – Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, took home the ‘Pick-up Truck of the Year’ award for the Next-Generation Ranger WildTrak at the Allianz DSF.my Vehicle of the Year (VOTY) Awards 2023.
“We are honoured to receive this latest recognition at the Allianz DSF.my VOTY Awards 2023. This is the third award that the Next-Gen Ranger WildTrak has won since our launch last year, reaffirming its top spot in the market as the premium pickup to own for work, family and play,” said Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford.
“Ford has certainly packed a lot into the Next-Gen Ranger WildTrak. It feels and drives like a premium SUV in terms of comfort, technology, and refinement, but still delivers on all the capabilities and versatility expected from a trusty pickup companion,” he added.
Redesigned from the ground up, the Next-Gen Ranger WildTrak now looks sleeker and more refined while retaining its muscular, bold styling and is packed with smart technologies. The interior has also been overhauled to deliver a more premium sedan-like ambience and quality.
The Next-Gen Ranger WildTrak is equipped with a host of class-leading intuitive technologies. These include a large 12-inch centre touchscreen display featuring Ford’s latest SYNC® 4A system, as well as a new digital instrument cluster. In addition, the vehicle offers a comprehensive suite of best-in-class safety features, such as the segment-first Evasive Steer Assist, a new Post-Collision Braking system, Adaptive Cruise Control with a Stop-and-Go feature, Cross Traffic Alert and Reverse Brake Assist.
Nomination for the Allianz DSF.my Vehicle of The Year (VOTY) Award ceremony is derived from new models launched in Malaysia between 1 May 2022 – 31 April 2023 (last 12 months). All judging is independent and is put to a vote before the winners are selected.
