Ford Ranger WildTrak Took Home Gold at Carlist.my’s People’s & Editors’ Choice Awards 2022

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 15 December 2022 – Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, recently bagged Gold for ‘Pickup Truck of the Year’ with the next-generation Ranger WildTrak at the Carlist.my People’s & Editors’ Choice Awards 2022.

This is the third year running from 2019 that the multiple-award-winning Ranger nameplate has received top votes from Malaysians in the People’s Choice Awards.

The nomination for the Carlist.my’s People’s & Editors’ Choice Awards 2022 is derived from new models launched between 1 June 2021 to 30 September 2022 and the respective brands’ popularity based on brand mentions and car buying data throughout the year.

For the People’s Choice Awards, consumers were asked to vote for the top three car models for each category. The voting process is documented and scrutinised by Carlist’s internal team of auditors to ensure data accuracy and a fair evaluation process.
